Choose Your Charity Update!

We are very happy to announce a new charity partner sign on to Choose Your Charity!

Samaritan's Purse is a charity based out of Alberta, Canada. They have been providing assistance to those in need since 1970. Samaritan's Purse is one of Canada's top rated charities of 2013.

What they do:
"We partner with our supporters in Canada and with local organizations (usually churches) abroad to provide compassionate and cost-effective assistance to anyone who needs it, regardless of religion, race, gender or socio-economic standing."
Samaritan's Purse also provides emergency relief programs to those in need around the globe by offering food, water, and temporary shelter in critical times of need.

Have you ever heard of Operation Christmas Child? Samaritan's Purse is the charity behind the charitable christmas shoe box program.  The program provides help and joy to children around the world at Christmas time.

Samaritan's Purse will be a great addition to Choose Your Charity. We're excited to have them as a new charity partner!

Maybe by Catalfo benefits those who are less fortunate than us. To do this, we have established the ‘Choose your Charity’ program.

How it Works: Maybe by Catalfo is committed to donating 10% of all purchases to charity. The ‘Choose your Charity’ program allows you to personally direct 10% of your purchase price to the charity of YOUR choice. If human rights issues are dear to your heart, you can donate to a human rights group. If you would rather raise awareness of animal rights, then you may direct your donation to an animal rights group. At the point-of-purchase you simply select your charity. The choice is yours!

Nominate a Charity: To help us select the best charities to include on the Maybe by Catalfo website, we need YOUR input! We want to choose two or three charities that specialize in each of the following areas; Human rights, Animal rights, Foreign aid/Sustainable development, and Inner city issues. Maybe By Catalfo

Designing dresses is my passion....some might say obsession.
My dresses have been showcased by friends, family and clients, and have even made appearances at the Canadian Juno Awards. But I want to go bigger, so I am launching a fashion label, Maybe by Catalfo.

I am Sarah Catalfo, the designer behind the dresses of Maybe By Catalfo.

The difficulty in finding unique styles of dresses has driven me to aim higher than what the industry offers. There are no cookie-cutter designs here.

Maybe dresses infuse a modern and playful twist on classic styles. 

 I do not shy away from using color. I like to design boldly and play with different elements. You will find surprise in my designs. They are coy, yet sophisticated.

This blog post is the first of many.  Maybe's blog will feature insights into developing styles and trends, plenty of wardrobe-inspiring ideas, and behind-the-scene peeks at the growth of Maybe. But more importantly, it will help us connect!
