Custom Dress Designed for Toronto Memory Ball

The month of March was dedicated to a very special project, in anticipation of the annual Memory Ball in Toronto. Maybe has been busy designing a custom made dress for this event.

The Memory Ball brings together more than 500 guests in support of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. An incredible evening of cocktails, delicious hors d’oeuvres, great music, dancing, and more. We're very proud to have a custom Maybe dress be worn to such a great event!

This dress is a special design for Tristan. We love the look because her Maybe dress is appropriately formal with an edge. The clean lines of this dress make it very minimalistic and fashion forward. Everyone loves to get dressed up but it's important to stay true to your own style!

Inspired by The Red Carpet

Like many others who live and breathe the world of fashion,
I highly anticipate the Academy Awards red carpet show
(more so than the award show itself).

A week later I felt inspired to start sketching gowns only fit
to wear on a red carpet! The red carpet always presents fashion
in true classical, iconic form. 

Here are two of those sketches!

When sketching the dress on the right I was inspired by a musical rest.
The lines in the dress mimic this shape.

Just like black and white sheet music.
